Homemade Waffles
Ingredients
- 1¾ c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp. baking powder
- ½ tsp. kosher salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1½ c. whole milk
- 2 tbsp. unsalted butter
Directions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Using an electric mixer, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, 2 to 3 minutes; set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, milk, and butter. Add the flour mixture, stirring just until incorporated. Gently fold in the whites until no streaks remain.
- Cook in a waffle maker according to the manufacturer's instructions until golden brown. Serve with your favorite toppings.
