BBQ-Rub Salmon



Ingredients

  • 8 skin-on salmon fillets
  • 2 tsp. oil
  • 1¼ tsp. salt
  • 3 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • ½ tsp. black pepper

Directions

  1. Prepare grill for direct grilling on medium. Brush grate until very clean.
  2. Combine brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper and set aside. Pat salmon fillets dry. Brush fillets all over with oil; sprinkle with salt. Coat flesh sides with BBQ rub. Push soaked skewers through salmon lengthwise; place, skin side down, on grill. Cover; cook without turning over 14 minutes or until just opaque. With metal spatula, scrape fillets from grill. If skin sticks to grate, remove fillet only.
