Black Quinoa with Avocado, Almonds, and Honey
Ingredients
- 2 c. water
- ¼ tsp. salt
- 1 c. black quinoa
- 1½ c. almond milk
- 1 thinly sliced avocado
- 6 tbsp. sliced toasted almonds
- 6 tbsp. honey
Directions
- Bring water and salt to a boil. Whisk in grains. Return to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Simmer, covered, for 15 to 17 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and top with almond milk, avocado, almonds, and honey.
